1.
Work as part of a team to create, send, negotiate, follow-up and track clinical confidentiality agreements and clinical contracts as well as other clinical documents attendant to clinical trials according to clinical contracts processes and SOPs.
2.
Negotiate contract language utilizing fallback positions furnished by legal.
3.
Liaise with medical/legal staff at investigative study sites, company clinical staff and CROs to expedite mutually agreeable language for timely execution of all clinical contracts/agreements.
4.
Performs all work in a uniform, complete, conscientious, and professional manner with very close attention to detail.
5.
Assists with special projects as assigned.
6.
Exhibits initiative in performing all tasks.
7.
Aware of and follows departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs.
8.
Maintains and makes available to Senior Manager and clinical contracts staff up-to-date, accurate information on progress related to all assigned clinical agreements/contracts.
Experience and Skills:
1.
An academic degree (B.S. or B.A.) with 2 to 4 years of clinical experience. Experience or academic requirements may be less with advanced academic degrees or with pharmaceutical experience in scientific research, clinical research or regulatory affairs.
2.
Paralegal certificate from ABA approved program preferred but not required.
3.
Experience with independent contract review and negotiation.
4.
Must be detail oriented.
5.
Excellent organization, communication and computer skills.
6.
Must display a professional image to all departmental contacts, investigational site personnel and vendors.
