The Clinical Research Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution and management of clinical trials and the implementation of agreed upon strategies for the clinical projects within pre-specified timelines and budgets. This includes:
- Acting as primary contact for study team members and vendors
- Proactively follow up on study progress
- Evaluation and selection of investigators
- Assist with preparation of protocol, informed consent, IDEs, CRFs, monitoring plan, etc
- Forecasting and ensuring adequate supplies
- Negotiating contracts and budgets
- Participating in initiation visits
- Anticipating and indentifying potential problems and implementing corrective actions
- Interfacing with other departments to ensure that clinical activities are in line with overall strategic goals
- Working closely with marketing regarding product usage, clinical needs and feedback from investigative sites
- Ability to travel 20% to 50%
The Clinical Research Manager must be proactive, and a team player and thrive in a small environment
Experience and Skills:
Requirements:
Education: RN, BS/BA or higher. Science degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in the device industry, pharmaceutical industry and/or CRO.
