GENERAL SUMMARY:

The OLAD Training Temp is responsible for assisting in maintaining a comprehensive, interactive, and compliant Training Program for company employees. This position will assist in the coordination of training programs and workshops organized by OLAD. Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: provide administrative support to the OLAD department, assist in the scheduling, set up, and close out tasks for training programs and workshops, assist in the communication of training events between training providers and Company, reproduce training materials, set up and break down training room, set up and break down computer equipment for trainees, create catering and transportation requests, etc. In addition, the OLAD Training Temp is the back up to perform data entry tasks for the training database and/ or the Contractor Training spreadsheet, as needed. Other job-function related tasks may be assigned as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIS:

1.

Provide administrative support to the OLAD department as needed.

2.

Set up and close out all of the training programs and workshops organized by OLAD.

3.

Set up and break down computer equipment and AV equipment for computer-based training classes.

4.

Configure training space by arranging wall partitions, tables, and chairs to meet each training class’ needs.

5.

Assist in the communication of the scheduled training with Company employees.

6.

Organize, photocopy, and distribute training materials for training programs and workshops.

7.

Process training forms for training programs and workshops.

8.

Maintain training database and/ or Contractor Training Spreadsheet as needed.

9.

Attend OLAD Training Programs, as required.

10.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

1.

Associates Degree or Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent experience.

2.

Minimum of 0-3 years relevant experience in providing training support in a corporate environment.

3.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer-oriented communication experience is a plus.

4.

Experienced with the following computer software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

5.

Strong sense of responsibility, e.g. understands, prepare, engage, and follow up on assigned project and program tasks.

6.

Strong multi-tasking skills, e.g. ability to handle multiple assignments from different projects and programs under tight timelines.

7.

Ability to follow instructions from management or team leaders.

8.

Ability to work efficiently either individually or in a team-setting to meet project and program deadlines.
